Many high achievers concentrate on achieving success, both financially and otherwise. However, they often come to realize that mere accumulation of wealth does not equate to true contentment or joy. Instead, they seek to create greater impact during their lives and beyond. Some succeed, and some struggle. Aligning assets with aspirations demands intentionality, vulnerability, reflection, and trusted, expert guidance. This is where I can make a significant difference.
In this brief video, I share my journey in developing my signature framework, Embrace Your Abundance.
Embrace Your Abundance is my signature framework designed to guide individuals and families on a journey to unlock the potential impact of their wealth, in alignment with their values.
Offered through:
1. Private Coaching
For individuals or couples, weekly sessions for 1-3 months depending on where they are in their journey.
2. Peer Workshops
For groups up to 7, an interactive session amongst friends to allow for vulnerable and courageous conversations leading to roadmaps and micro-actions.
3. Tailored Presentations
For broader audiences, including teams of trusted experts such as wealth management teams, family offices and nonprofit development professionals.
Unlike the expertise provided by investment, tax and legal professionals, this work tackles the mental and emotional barriers that prevent highly successful people from living more fully today while creating the legacy they envision for tomorrow.
Peer Workshops:
Format:
In addition to learning concepts illuminated by stories, participants will have time for quiet reflection and guided discussion with others in the workshop. Personal sharing is not required.
Outcomes:
Participants will leave the program with:
- A deeper understanding of how they view their abundance
- A roadmap for conversations they may want to have with family or advisors
- Ideas of what they choose to explore as part of their legacy
- Clarity on the action steps to move them forward
Embrace Your Abundance Exercises
Ten Dimes Exercise
This interactive tool allows you to play with a single dollar of your estate distribution. Spend it across different categories of people in your life or charitable causes. When you think you are done, you can add notes for each category you selected. You will receive a PDF of your results. People find it flexible and return to it more than once. Or invite a family member to do the same for comparison purposes.
Core Values Exercise
Invest time in reconnecting with your values and discerning which are your most deeply held – or core values. Once selected, you can write a note about why it is a core value. You will receive a PDF of your results.
The Reality Check Survey
For those participating in an Embrace Your Abundance experience, the Reality Check Survey allows them to identify which of the challenges offered are part of your current reality. When you complete it, you will receive an email with additional resources.
About Kathleen
Shaped by my personal journey, Embrace Your Abundance, my signature framework, leverages four decades of professional experience and life lessons that I am honored to share with others. My passion is deeply rooted in, and blends, these roles:
Executive and Life Coach: I guide clients who want more in life and struggle to unlock what holds them back.
University Development Officer: For decades, individuals who are philanthropists welcomed me on a portion of their journey to create meaningful impact. We listened and learned from each other. I remain inspired by them. As an Assistant Vice President for Development at Stanford University, I mentored and coached others.
Grief Educator: I explore how grief can limit how we move forward as we accept the truth of how short life can be.
Humble Benefactor: Thanks to my loving husband, we learned the pure yet poignant joy of intentionality.
My clients say it best:
“Our participants are still talking about their experience with Kathleen. She asks thought-provoking questions and guides powerful conversations that take our understanding of what philanthropy can be to a whole new level.”
– Andrea Reeder, Chief Philanthropy Officer, Asante Foundation, Medford, Oregon
- From a recent presentation to 75 women at the foundation’s Women, Wisdom, & Wealth annual luncheon
“Kathleen’s coaching superpower is asking a question or interjecting an insight that opens up new possibilities one could not have imagined themselves.”
– Barbara Geraghty, Abundance Coaching Client
