Long Bio

Kathleen Quinn is a mindset coach, bestselling author, and speaker whose work guides accomplished individuals to align with what matters most, grounded in their values, so they can live free and fulfilling lives. Audiences and clients describe her as warmly offering clarity with impact: a trusted presence who creates space for the conversations people have been carrying quietly, sometimes for years.

Kathleen's coaching practice is a natural extension of a 35-year career in university alumni and development. She took early retirement from Stanford University as an Assistant Vice President for Development after 18 years there, during which she served on leadership teams for two multi-billion-dollar campaigns. Across those decades, she listened to scores of individuals wrestling with what wealth meant to them, how it shaped their sense of self, and how they wanted it to shape the lives of others. Those conversations are the foundation of her speaking work today.

She is a featured author in the bestselling anthology Infinite Impact: Stories of Alignment, alongside Amber Vilhauer and eleven other authors, and a Certified Grief Educator through the training of David Kessler. Her speaking topics include the worth and wealth paradox, the invisible beliefs that shape financial decisions, and the hidden dynamics of donor conversations.

Having navigated her own transition from institutional leadership, and carrying the experience of losing five loved ones before the age of 60, Kathleen understands the complex emotions of stepping into a new chapter while holding what came before. She and her late husband, Michael, experienced firsthand the power of charitable giving aligned with values. A self-proclaimed theater geek, she is drawn to the stories people live and the ones still waiting to be told.
